Learn about how green design meets affordable housing in Honduras!  Kris Dick from the University of Manitoba will talk about a house designed by 12 students from Engineering & Architecture Faculties, built in the village of Consonlaca, Lempira, Honduras.  The nature of the presentation will be to talk about how the program got started, some of the associated research and the student experience.

In an effort to support this project, MBEC will be donating $5 per registration.  So come on out!  Learn about this project while at the same time, support this experience for the students.      

When:   Thursday January 23, 2014

Time:    3:00 - 4:30 pm (registration opens at 2:30)

Where:  Red River College Princess Campus (P107 CGA Manitoba Room)

To confirm your attendance, please register online by January 21.  Cancellations must be received two days prior to the event.  Cancellations after this date will be invoiced for the entry fee.  

Cost:

Members - free; future members - $10.
